Hero Story: My Husband
I met my husband in 2003. He had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2001, had surgery and was doing well. His doctors had "caught" it in time where surgery was the cure. He has been cancer free for 9 years. The thing we have to watch now is that without part of his pancreas and diabetes in his background already that he doesn't become a diabetic.
Sometimes it is a challenge. But I am so glad that God spared him the treatments.
Pancreatic cancer is the ONLY major cancer with a five-year survival rate still in the single digits at just 6%. With your help, we can change this deadly statistic.
